I truly love what I do! Each couple I marry remains close to my heart forever! No one can tell you better about my services than the couples I have already married.

It’s no exaggeration to say that without Samora – both as an officiant and as a wedding coordinator – our wedding would not have been what it was. My husband and I only had four weeks to plan our wedding in New York City, and Samora’s help was invaluable. Within an hour of meeting and chatting with us, Samora had found the ideal venue for us and our 40 guests. As well as helping us find a venue, Samora also helped us find and organise a wonderful photographer and beautiful flowers for the space, as well as offering guidance for how to create our wedding playlist. When it came to the ceremony itself, Samora was there early to help us get prepared (she even ran out at the last minute to get me cough drops for my bad cold!). The ceremony itself was absolutely perfect: thanks to Samora, we had a ceremony that was unique and personal to us a couple, but one that still retained references to tradition, which is exactly what we wanted. Many of our guests have said that it was one of the loveliest wedding ceremonies they have attended, thanks to the personal touch that Samora gave to it. Samora comes very highly recommended from both of us!

We initially asked the person who introduced us to be our officiant. Due to a work conflict, she had to bail. My husband and I were very disappointed. We went out on a search to find another officiant, asking other friends, and people who we thought would be fun choices, but time and options were running out. While on vacation, my husband decided to just look online. Something that I was very much against. It seemed so impersonal! He looked through many profiles and only showed me people who he thought might make me soften to the idea. When he showed me Rev. Samora, I was instantly intrigued by her. Her multi-faith/multi-ethnic background was a new twist to the bland faces we saw page after page. We set up a meeting to have coffee one rainy afternoon and we hit it off instantly. We needed to look no further! She was the one. The very next day, my husband’s aunt and uncle threw us an engagement party. We thought it would be nice if she came to get to know us better and out families. She came with her 12-year-old daughter, who turned out to be my little dream come true. The wedding was spectacular. The work that she put in was inspiring to us. We were so down about our friend bailing but it was clear that we would have a beautiful ceremony yet! She really zeroed in on who we are as people, and the crazy love that we have for each other. It’s not very often that guests go on and on about how much love that they felt from the ceremony-that it left them feeling loved and feeling the need to love. You’d think our ceremony was small and intimate but we had 200 guests! Samora was so eloquent, and engaging that our friends and family thought we had known her for years. We welcomed her and her daughter as guests at our wedding and we hope to maintain a relationship with her for years to come.

Also- She was instrumental in helping us become the main couple in the vows section of the New York Times the weekend after our wedding.

I’m a Christian, my husband is Muslim. My wedding planner put me in contact with Rev Samora and I am so grateful for her choice. I did not have a face to face with Rev Samora until my wedding day but after a few emails between us I realized she really “got” us and our love story. I’m from the Caribbean and my husband is from Turkey. Rev Samora did such an awesome job with our ceremony, it made our special day extra special. She is very understanding, kind and a gracious soul. We feel blessed to have met her.

Rev. Samora is by far the best!! My husband and I are not religious but wanted to have a very special and unique ceremony to represent us on our wedding day and Rev. Samora made that happen for us!! When we first met her in person (months before the wedding) we absolutely fell in love with her! Her spiritualness and calm vibe encouraged us to be ourselves in front of her. We could feel her true love and happiness for us!! We continued to stay in touch with her frequently leading up to the wedding and felt like Rev. Samora would pull all of this together just perfectly….and she did!!!! We decided to do a unity ceremony (with hypnotic and Hennessy to make an Incredible Hulk drink) and also did a Love Wine Box ceremony. With this we picked out a special bottle of wine, wrote love letters to each other and sealed and locked them in the wine box to share when we are feeling like we might need to rekindle our relationship. But as Rev. Samora had asked us in front of all our family and friends on the day of the ceremony…”when will you be opening this box?”, our response was “NEVER!!”:-) I feel we Rev. Samora was the best in the fact that at the ceremony she spoke about us as if she knew us forever. When it was all said and done my husband and I never wrote our vows (in which we intended but nerves got the best of us:-) we informed Rev. Samora of this on the day of the wedding and she reassured us….”don’t worry….I got it!!” She did….she said what we wanted to say and couldn’t have said it better. It was so natural and well spoken that she brought tears to our eyes at the “alter”. Rev. Samora is easy to talk to, very personable, and open to embracing each couples uniqness regardless of their beliefs. I/we would recommend her for anyone, whether religious or not, to be involved and play a part in the most special day of a couples lives together!! She truly is amazing, kind hearted, open minded and someone that will always be special to us!!

What can i say….this special day took 2 years to plan,,we met Samora….what a find ! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish, even down to waiting patiently as the New York traffic took its toll! A fantastic service provided and in a beautiful setting as it was changed suddenly down to vandalism, Samora recommended, we trusted!!!!! Happiest day of my life marrying my life partner and now husband, and the setting was perfect! We asked for music playing, it was perfect, and the photographer was out of this world… SIMPLY A BIG THANK YOU !!!!Mark and Stuart Potts. Leeds England.

From the second we met Samora we were extremely comfortable with her and felt like she completely understood the two of us, the vibe of the ceremony that we wanted and what it would look like. Her ceremony was so completely us while weaving elements in that we didn’t even know we needed (but were glad we had). Samora created a thoughtful and personal ceremony for me and my wife based on the information she received. We had an extremely diverse group of people attend out wedding and she was able to speak to everyone and make us all feel welcomed and comfortable. Samora was an absolute dream to work with, so kind, warm, helpful and flexible.

Rev. Samora is truly the epitome of professionalism! From the beginning to the very end, she was thoroughly informative, helpful and kind. We were very conscious about our selection; we knew our elopement was to be a small, simple ceremony- the majority of which the officiant would have “the floor”. Just as her stellar reviews suggested, Rev. Samora did not disappoint! We could not have asked for a better officiant. She ensured that our day was memorable, while making us feel comfortable and, most importantly, special! We can’t thank Rev. Samora enough and would highly recommend her for any wedding- big or small!
