We have all heard of the famous bridge in Paris, Pont des Arts where for many decades, lovers would leave a lock and toss the key into the River Seine, signifying there everlasting love. Unfortunately, this tradition is no longer practiced there, but now you can create your own love lock ceremony in your wedding ceremony. As a NY Wedding Officiant, I am always looking for unique ways to celebrate your love and I personally love this idea.
The Lovelocks “Tree of Life” ceremony is a unique ceremony idea using heart shaped padlocks that lock one time only-there is no key! The couple personally engrave their names, special date or special messages on them.
Following an ancient custom, you can “lock your love” to that person or those people important in your life. Engraving your own personal message on a Love Lock is the ultimate way of saying “I love you” and solidifying those special relationships in your life. No matter the person—or even pet –with a love padlock from Love Locks, Inc. you can celebrate love, family, and friendship. So when words simply aren’t enough, let Love Locks do the talking. We are dedicated to continuing the tradition of expressing one’s love and commitment by offering a personalized padlock for your special occasion.
You can purchase your Lovelocks Tree at www.lovelocksonline.com.
We are so excited to announce our 6th year being chosen as The Knot Best of Weddings 2017 winner. Please contact Common Ground Ceremonies to assist you with your upcoming wedding, especially if you are interested in a personalized, heartfelt ceremony that truly celebrates you as a couple. We offer all styles of ceremonies, marriage and pre-marital coaching and interfaith support. We look forward to hearing from you.
It has been an amazing journey from the moment I decided to become an Interfaith Minister back in 2005. At that particular time I didn’t know where it would lead, but I knew that I had opened up myself to be of service to myself and others. I still don’t define myself as religious but I feel blessed and liberated when I can assist people on their spiritual journey. I began marrying couples in 2010 and it has been one of the most gratifying experiences. I am so moved by all of the wonderful couples I meet, hearing their stories and always feel honored to bring their families together. As a New York City Wedding Officiant, I have met people from all over the world, straight and gay who are overjoyed to finally marry the person they love. I have won The Knot “Best of Weddings” award for the past 4 years and because of all of my amazing reviews, I am proud to announce that I have finally made The Knot “Hall of Fame” Award. Happy New Year to everyone and please contact me at (646)709-2090 to discuss your upcoming celebration.
Winter Weddings in Central Park are so Romantic!! Central Park has some of the most picturesque locations that are easily accessible from your hotel or local shopping. Mark and Lewis traveled all the way from Singapore and chose to have a non-denominational wedding in Central Park. We met at The Plaza Hotel and boarded a horse-and-carriage with champagne and big smiles in tow. We arrived at Cherry Hill in Central Park which overlooks the lake towards the Upper West Side and I presided over their heart-filled ceremony. The temperature may have been cold but we felt warm and excited for their beautiful celebration. Please email us at email@example.com to discuss your upcoming wedding in New York. As a New York Wedding Officiant, I am licensed to perform weddings all over the Tri-State area so contact us today to discuss your special day. Happy Holidays!!
